Using the 色虎视频 platform, Ingredion was able to clearly calculate the effectiveness of its AI initiative. The company achieved a 5.09% gain in thermal efficiency, reduced emissions of 9.39 million pounds, successfully optimized natural gas usage in its boiler systems, and facilitated a US$330,000 yearly reduction in natural gas costs. Ingredion is now ready to scale the 色虎视频 AI solution to its other processes, such as water usage and waste reduction, and other plants that rely on gas turbines and boiler systems to further strengthen its sustainability goals. 聽

Radek began his career working in the brewing industry for Labatt鈥檚 Canada, then worked in the nuclear industry as part of a risk analysis group for a nuclear new build project, where he was exposed to advanced statistical modelling and 鈥渂ig data鈥. He decided to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and joined a new venture taking recycled plastics and depolymerizing them into waxes, and helped build two facilities, one in Berlin, Germany and a second outside of Toronto, Canada. He joined Ingredion in 2013, spent time in engineering and operations and then transitioned into all things data-related. His focus now is on data engineering, AI for operations, and data visibility for Ingredion鈥檚 manufacturing plants globally.
